National Public Holiday in Italy in honor of St. Francis of Assisi
Teresa tells us about Italy reinstating October 4th as a national public holiday in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. They also touch upon Netflix, free speech and Dick Durbin’s controversial award.

Teresa Tomeo is an author, syndicated Catholic talk show host, and motivational speaker with more than 40 years of experience in TV, radio, and newspaper. In the year 2000, Teresa left the secular media to start her own speaking and communications company, Teresa Tomeo Communications, LLC. Her weekday morning radio program, Catholic Connection, is produced by EWTN.  Her latest book is “Italy’s Shrines and Wonders: Discovering Sacred Spaces, Fascinating Places, and Destinations Off the Beaten Path.”

AIP Speakers Series
Jack Krasula promotes the next AIP Speaker Series event at Saint John’s Resort on Plymouth.  The speaker on October 9th at 7pm will be Fr. Steve Mateja.  He is a popular priest in the Archdiocese of Detroit, ordained in 2012. His talk is titled, “Don’t Look Back: Living the Exodus.” Don’t miss this event, which begins with a Rosary at 6:30pm.

Jack Krasula, President of Trustinus, LLC, is formerly the founder, CEO and President of Decision Consultants, Inc. (DCI), the largest privately held professional information technology services firm in America. Krasula sold DCI to Ciber, Inc. in May 2002. Jack started his company in 1976 and grew the company from a one-person operation to a $150+ million in revenue, 1800+ employee firm.
