Secretary of State John Kerry determined this morning that ISIS has been committing acts of genocide against Christians and other minorities. The European Parliament made a similar declaration last month and Kerry has faced increasing pressure to make the declaration official. On Monday the House of Representatives voted 393-0 in a nonbinding resolution to condemn ISIS atrocities as genocide. In this interview we talked about it with Nina Shea.
