A mob of ultra-Orthodox Jews occupied the Upper Room in Jerusalem earlier this month, preventing Christian pilgrims from celebrating Pentecost there. The building is on land that belongs to the State of Israel, which has banned all Christian churches from celebrating liturgies there. John Paul II and Pope Francis are the only people who have been allowed to celebrate on this site.
