  • Segment Guests:
    • Bill Donaghy
, Theology of the Body Institute

Bill completed the Institute' Speakers Training program in 2005 and our Head & Heart Immersion Course in January 2006. Bill's presentation of Introduction to Theology of the Body has been described as "riveting" and " life -changing". He applies his Masters Degree in Systematic Theology along with his extensive minstry work and love for the Church and its teachings to present John Paul II' s Theology of the Body to your community. Bill has worked in the fields of mission and evangelization in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia since 1999. Through his work with the Pontifical Mission Societies, Bill has given hundreds of talks on the spirituality of mission to young people throughout the greater Philadelphia area and beyond. He has experienced the love of Christ in the missions of Haiti, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic as well as within the realms of Young Adult and Parish ministry in Philadelphia. In October of 2000, Bill was chosen to represent his country in a special tribute for the Jubilee of Missionaries in Rome. He was given a simple cross by Pope John Paul II and called by the Holy Father to “bring Jesus back to your country.” He is filled with a passion for his faith and dedicated to spreading the joy of the New Evangelization. Bill's talks range from the mystery of the Eucharist, the Theology of the Body, and the art of prayer, to living a dynamic Catholic life in our present culture. Believing Adult Faith Formation to be an integral part of the New Evangelization, he's developed the six-week course "Into the Deep," which unpacks the major themes of Pope John Paul II's vision for the New Millennium. Bill holds an Associates Degree in Visual Arts, a Bachelors in Philosophy and a Masters in Systematic Theology. He teaches theology at Malvern Prepatory High School and Immaculata University in Exton, PA. He is also an instructor for the Theology of the Body Institute's Certification Program. Bill and his wife, Rebecca, live in Lansdowne, PA with their two children.
