Malta Minute with the Catechism: The Resurrection of the Body

  • Program #: 40
  • Description: What is the most opposed belief of the Christian faith? The Catholic Catechism tells us it is our belief that our body will rise again after death. That there is some kind of spiritual existences after death is a fairly common belief. It is the resurrection of the mortal body that challenges the imagination. How can this happen? We rise again through the power of Christ's resurrection. Just as he was raised with his own body, so shall we be raised. We will, as he did, have a glorified body. Our earthly body, which decayed after death, will be rejoined to the soul and will never again be subject to decay. This is Peggy Stanton and this has been the Order of Malta's Minute with the Catechism.
