Description: When the second Vatican Council spoke about the Church, its opening words defined "Christ as the light of humanity." The Council further stated its desire, meeting together in the Holy Spirit, to "bring all men to the light of Christ by proclaiming His gospel to every creature." Christ's light is most visible in His Church. The holiness of the Church is from the source of all holiness, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is also the giver of all holiness. The Church, says the Catholic Catechism, is where the Spirit flourishes." Our belief in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit cannot be separated from a belief that the Church is holy and Catholic - one - and apostolic. This is Peggy Stanton and this has been the Order of the Malta's Minute with the Catechism.
