Description: How does man fulfill his vocation? Through life in the Holy Spirit, the Catechism tells us. This life is made up of divine charity and human solidarity and is offered as salvation. Man's great dignity is "rooted in his creation in the image and likeness of God". It is fulfilled in his vocation to divine beatitude. It is by our own actions, doing good and avoiding evil"”freely chosen acts"”that man conforms to the good promised by God. "Human beings make their own contribution to their own interior growth," the Catechism tells us. With the help of grace, man can avoid sin and grow in virtue. It is Christ who reveals the mystery of the Father and His love for man, thus making man fully manifest to himself and bringing to light his exalted vocation. This is Peggy Stanton and this has been the Order of Malta's Minute with the Catechism.
