Description: What is heaven? Where is it? How do we get there? Almost from the moment we arrive on earth, we wonder where we're going when we leave it. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, heaven is where we are in society with the life and love of the Holy Trinity, the Virgin Mary, the angels and all the Blessed. Heaven is the ultimate end and fulfillment of the deepest human longing, the state of supreme definitive happiness. " Being in heaven", says the Catechism, "is to be with Christ". "The elect", the Catechism states, "live in Christ", yet they retain their own name, finding their true identity. How do we get to heaven? The Catechism lays out the route. We are baptized in the faith and then we must live it, so that we die in God's grace and friendship. This is Peggy Stanton and this has been the order of Malta's Minute with the Catechism.
