Description: What is the state of Christianity in China? Is it the fading results of failed missionary work? Is it an extreme minority that will soon be crushed by the atheistic culture and government? Or is it a growing and thriving underground movement. Rodney Stark has extensively researched Christianity’s rise in Chinese history with Chinese-born Xiuhua Wang. He has uncovered a prosperous group of believers that grows ever larger by the day. Rodney joins us today.
Rodney Stark is a Distinguished Professor of the Social Sciences at Baylor University, where he is also the Co-Director of the Institute for Studies of Religion.
