Description: Like many converts, Kenneth Hensley was impacted strongly by the writings of the now Saint John Henry Newman. It all began when he read Newman's infamous "to be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant." He joins us.
Ken Hensley is a nationally known Catholic teacher and author, who since converting to the Catholic faith in 1997, has taught extensively in the field of Catholic apologetics and biblical studies. He has been invited to speak at Catholic conferences and parishes throughout the U.S. Hen came to faith in Christ at the age of 22 in a non-denominational Protestant environment. He received his M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. and was ordained in the American Baptist denomination, where he served as a pastor for eleven years. Ken now works with the Coming Home Network, International, supporting others who are making their way into the Church. He is also an adjunct professor in the biblical studies department at St John’s Seminary for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Ken and Tina have been married for 40 years. They have two children and eight grandchildren. They live Fillmore, California.
