  • Description:

First Topic - The Catholic Church & Science; Answering the Questions, Exposing the Myths

In The Catholic Church & Science, Ben Wiker takes on the most common errors that modern materialistic thinkers, convinced that faith and science must be mortal enemies, have foisted into popular culture. With great learning, clarity, and wit he tackles stubborn confusions many people have about the relationship between Christianity especially Catholicism and the empirical sciences, and separates truth from lies, the factual from the fanciful. He joins us.

Second Topic - There Be Dragons

Arising out of the horror of the Spanish Civil War, a candidate for canonization is investigated by a journalist who discovers his own estranged father had a deep, dark and devastating connection to the saint's life. The film is There Be Dragons and it explores a part of the life of St. Jose Maria Escriva. Steven Greydanus represented Ave Maria Radio at the premiere and press junket for There Be Dragons. Today he gives us his formal review.
