    First Segment - Largest Ever World Congress of Families Issues Declaration

    With the family under attack in Europe, the United States and elsewhere, delegates to the recent World Congress of Families held in Poland felt the urgent need to set forth basic principles for the international pro-family movement. The Warsaw Declaration notes that, “The natural family, creation of God, is the fundamental human community, based on the life-long marriage between a man and a woman, in which new individuals are conceived, born and raised.” We look at the conference, the issues and the Polish rebuke of the European Union.

    Second Segment - Newsweek explores the apparent “Mystery of Gender”

    The cover of Newsweek Magazine this week proclaims – “The Mystery of Gender: Aside from the obvious, what makes us male or female?” It goes on to say that a growing number of transgender Americans are raising “fresh questions about gender identity.” We dissect this disturbing article with Dr. John Grabowski, a professor of theology at Catholic University.

    Third Segment - A Global Warming Debate

    Al Gore is on the cover of TIME Magazine this week and a group of religions leaders have released a statement urging the government to act immediately on “global warming,” declaring it to be a “moral and spiritual issue.” We debate the science of the issue with two leading climate scholars.
