Kresta in the Afternoon – June 3, 2015 – Hour 2

+  St Francis Used Words

  • Description: The clichéd phrase to “preach the Gospel at all time and, if necessary, use words” is often attribute to St. Francis, but what he actually taught is in direct contradiction to the quote. Christ’s final words in the Gospel of Mark are to “go out to the whole world and proclaim the Good News to all creation.” Peter Herbeck of Renewal Ministries shows us how the Gospel is fundamentally Good News. It’s a report on what God has accomplished and it can’t be merely nonverbal.
