    The Senate hearings for Sonia Sotomayor are underway in DC and Americans United for Life has announced that its President & CEO Dr. Charmaine Yoest has been called to testify at the confirmation hearings. On Thursday, Dr. Yoest plans to focus her testimony on making the connection for the senators and the American public between the positions taken by the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund during her tenure on the Board and her judicial interventionist approach to the bench.     Third Topic– Eleventh Night and The Twelfth  - Protestant/Catholic Relations In Ireland

    Eleventh night bonfires sparked more than 100 calls to the Fire and Rescue Service in Northern Ireland this weekend. The eleventh night refers to the night before The 12th of July, an annual protestant commemoration of the Battle of the Boyne in 1690. The towering infernos required a total of 80 responses into the small hours of Sunday morning. We talk with Northern Ireland politician John Dallat about the history of the 12th and the current tensions between Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland.
