Kresta in the Afternoon – January 31, 2008 – Hour 2

  • Description:

First Topic – A Catholic Philosophy of Elementary Education

This week is Catholic Schools Week and today is the feast of St. John Bosco. We take the opportunity to look at elementary education from a philophic point of view. What does it mean to educate the human being, from child to adult? Curtis Hancock is here to look at how to recover a Catholic philosophy of elementary education.

Second Topic –  St. Francis of Assisi and the Conversion of the Muslims

Frank Rega is with us to tell the story of St. Francis' trip to the Sultan in Egypt and efforts to convert him to the One True Faith. It's a fascinating story, even more relevant today.
