First Topic - #12: What’s So Great About Christianity

Is it reasonable to have faith in God? Can intelligent, educated people really believe what the Bible says? Or do the atheists have it right--has Christianity been disproven by science and discredited as a guide to morality? Dinesh D'Souza responds head-on to the anti-God arguments of prominent atheists such as Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, and Christopher Hitchens, and defeats them on their own terms. What’s So Great About Christianity has been updated and is now available in paperback. Dinesh joins us.

Second Topic - #11: The Gospel According to Disney

Fr. Christopher Jamison, the Abbot of Worth in West Sussex, England, has accused the Disney corporation of "exploiting spirituality" to sell its products and of turning Disneyland into a modern day pilgrimage site. He argues that it pretends to provide stories with a moral message, but has actually helped to create a more materialistic culture. Today is the birthday of Walt Disney, and we talk with Mark Pinsky, author of The Gospel According to Disney. Pinsky understands the Disney "theology" as well as he understands the concerns of religious people who have taken that theology to task over the years. He is here to trace the evolution of the Disney gospel, from Walt himself to its current form and everything in between.
