    First Segment - Greeting Islam

    Late last year Pope Benedict visited Turkey to meet with the Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew I. But this trip took on a new significance following the Muslim outrage over the Holy Father’s Regensburg address. Our Vatican correspondent, Joan Lewis, was in Istanbul with the Pope and weighed in on the importance of this trip and the message Benedict brought.

    Second Segment - Conjugal America: On the Public Purpose of Marriage

    The Associated Press trumpeted recently the news that out-of-wedlock births in the United States have climbed to an all-time high, accounting for nearly four in 10 babies born last year. We get behind these numbers and ask how significant they are. Allan Carlson explores with us the nature and public purpose of marriage.
