Kresta in the Afternoon – April 13, 2007 – Hour 1

  • Description:

First Segment - Solzhenitsyn: The Moral Vision

Some consider him the greatest prophet of the 20th century. No, we’re not speaking of Pope John Paul the Great. We’re talking about Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. At the very least he is one of the titanic literary figures of the last 100 years. Edward Ericson has been studying Solzhenitsyn for decades and was asked by Solzhenitsyn himself to edit the Gulag Archipelego. Edward joins us in studio.

Second Segment - 2007 “Campus Outrage Awards”

Proving that crazy and absurd antics of college life are no longer confined to fraternities and sororities but have now expanded into the classroom and administration buildings, the Intercollegiate Studies Institute’s Collegiate Network has announced the 10th annual “Campus Outrage Awards.”  You will be shocked at the antics of university professors, presidents and student governments.
