That claim doesn’t hold up when you look at recent stories from countries where the practice is legal. We’ll take a look with Wes Smith.

    • Tony Gerring
      Tony Gerring is Director of Advancement Services at Ave Maria Radio. He was raised in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and attended Lutheran schools for twelve years. After several years of study and prayer in the mid 1990s, he was received into the Catholic Church in 1997 at the Easter Vigil Mass. His story along with ten others was published in 2001 in the book, There We Stood, Here We Stand: Eleven Lutherans Rediscover Their Catholic Roots, edited by Tim Drake. Tony and his wife, Karen, have six children and live in rural Michigan on a small farm.
