  • Description: Marcus Peter was raised in a Catholic home but soon fell away into militant atheism. But he eventually realized he had a thirst for the truth, and his study of Scripture led him back into full communion with the Church of his youth. He joins us to share his story.

      Marcus Peter teaches theology at Fr Gabriel Richard High School. Over the past 10 years, he has spoken in hundreds of sessions and retreats across Malaysia, Singapore, India, the Philippines and the United States on a wide array of topics pertaining to the Catholic Faith, including Biblical Theology, Catholic Spirituality, Apologetics and Catechesis. His theological research has mostly been focused on Biblical Covenant Theology, employing the research of scholars such as Dr. Jon D. Levenson, Dr. Gregory K. Beale, and, most of all, Pope Benedict XVI. He also has a passion for the Systematic Theology of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine of Hippo. He has written and submitted several papers in these areas, some of which are published or being reviewed for publication.
