+  A Pope's Reflections on the Priesthood (2 segments)

  • Description: Pope Emeritus Benedict has been a priest for more than 60 years and has written extensively on the theological and historical insights on the witness of the priesthood. In 2009 he declared the Year for Priests, in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of the death of St John Vianney, patron saint of all parish priests. Through it all, he has strived to deepen the commitment of all priests to interior renewal. We'll talk with Fr. Joseph Fessio about how, in the words of St Vianney, the priesthood is the love of the heart of Jesus.
