Kresta in the Afternoon – November 26, 2019 – Hour 2
+ A Return to the Neighborhood (1.5 segments)
- Description: Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood holds a special place in the hearts of many. Yet that neighborhood is an infinite distance from where we live now. The calming theme music and Mr Roger’s gentle voice may fill us with nostalgia, but the way we go about our lives suggests little or no continuity between that nostalgia and our current reality. The release of the film “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” has many of us asking if there is a way back. We talk with Deacon Steven Greydanus.

+ Where Things Are Going Right: Christ the King (1.5 segments)
- Description: If you follow the news, either secular or Catholic, you'll hear a lot of bad news. Mistrust of the government, political division, advancement of abortion and other radically anti-family principles, misconduct of the clergy, persecution of Christians, the list goes on. But as Christians we are called to share Good News. So we're going to begin devoting segments to talk about Where Things Are Going Right - the Parishes, lay movements and other organizations that are working in their own unique way to Build the Church and Bless the Nations. Today, we talk with Fr Ed Fride of Christ the King, just after the Feast of Christ the King and just before his ordination anniversary.
