The Holy Martyrs of Sebaste and the History of the Turkish Church (2 segments)
Description: March 9 is the Feast the 40 Holy Martyrs of Sebaste and, in the Episcopal Church, the Feast of St Gregory of Nyssa, who Catholics celebrate on January 10. Turkey has played an incredibly important role in the Church's history from the beginning. We'll look at the lives of Turkish saints and the history of the Turkish church with Dan Beaudoin.
Dan Beaudoin is a Major in the US Air Force stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. He was stationed for two years at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey and had the opportunity to study the history of the Turkish Church.
