  • Description: The Archdiocese of Indianapolis made headlines last week when it announced that a local Jesuit high school will no longer be recognized as a Catholic school, due to a disagreement about the employment of a teacher who attempted to contract a same-sex marriage. A few days later, another Catholic high school in the diocese said it would comply with the archbishop’s instructions and recognized the Archbishop’s “responsibility to oversee faith and morals as related to Catholic identity within the Archdiocese.” We look at the situation with Fr. Thomas Petri.
