Bishop Brennan to help Diocese of Wheeling’s Healing Efforts

Description: Sanctions have been announced against Michael Bransfield, the former bishop of Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia, who is accused of several sexual-related charges as well as using diocesan funds to give gifts to high-ranking Church officials. Bransfield is no longer allowed to live or practice Mass in the diocese and must make personal amends. Yesterday Bishop Mark Brennan was introduced as the new leader of the diocese.
