Description: The state department recently announced a new human rights commission to be led by former ambassador to the Vatican Mary Ann Glendon. The initiative has been criticized for promoting natural law, which some see as fig leaves for the denial of abortion and LGBTQ rights. But when human rights champions promote those rights that are not grounded in natural law, they undermine their credibility to speak for all human beings. We’ll talk with Dan Philpott.
