Judge Releases Chaldean Christians Detained by ICE
Description: More than 100 Iraqi Christians detained last year and slated for deportation will instead spend Christmas at home with their families in Detroit. A federal district court ruled that the government has a month to release the detainees, most of whom are Chaldean Christians who were taken into custody in June 2017 on criminal charges dating back decades. They faced persecution and death if they were sent back to Iraq. Martin Manna has the details.
