  • Description: The lack of concrete action at the USCCB Fall Assembly has left many Catholic feeling even more frustrated, betrayed and angry than they were at the end of the summer. But, as we’ve seen since this whole mess started, the laity aren’t going anywhere. What’s the latest developments, and where do we go from here? Al and Dr Mary Healy will address these questions on Thursday at Christ the King in Ann Arbor. They give us a preview today.

      Mary Healy is an Associate Professor of Sacred Scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. She’s the general editor of the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture and is the author of two of its volumes: the Gospel of Mark and the Letter to the Hebrews. She is also the author of Men and Women are from Eden: A Study Guide to John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and serves on the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. She was appointed by Pope Francis to the Pontifical Biblical Commission.
