Priestly Misconduct - a Private or Public Matter?
Description: A priest in South Carolina has been suspended for sharing explicit images with a minor on the hookup app Grindr. He won’t be charged because the minor falsified his age and said he was 18 and the diocese is treating the situation as a private matter. The problem is, it’s not a private matter. Sexual sins by the clergy wound the whole body of Christ. We’ll talk more with Christopher Tollefsen.
Christopher Tollefsen, a senior fellow of the Witherspoon Institute, is a professor of philosophy at the University of South Carolina and author, with Robert. P. George, of Embryo: A Defense of Human Life.

As a teenager she was drawn toward nature mysticism and eastern philosophies, and a few years later she found herself fully embracing the "spirituality" of the liberal movements of the 70s and 80s. She did eventually marry, though she did not want kids - but it was her first child that began her journey to the Church. She joins us.
Cynthia Scodova works as a neuromuscular therapist with a background in fine and language arts, a horse farmer, and a monk in progress. She currently blogs at: The Mad-Eyed Monk, http://themad-eyedmonk.blogspot.com/
