Catholic Connection – November 25, 2008 – Hour 1

  • Description:

Segment 1 - Teresa introduces the show and reports the news of the day.

Segment 2 - Teresa's Two Cents - Teresa reads inspiring words from Bishop Robert Hermann of St. Louis given at the recent Bishops meeting in Baltimore.  There he said, ‘We have lost 50 times as many children in the last 35 years as we have lost soldiers in all the wars since the Revolution. I think any bishop here would consider it a privilege to die tomorrow to bring about an end to abortion. If we are willing to die tomorrow, then we should be willing to, until the end of our lives, to take all kinds of criticism for opposing this horrible infanticide.’

Segment 3 - Gary Glenn is the Michigan President of the American Family Association.  Gary and Teresa talk about a new "Hate Crimes" bill passed by the Michigan House of Representatives and what the consequences would be of such an action.

Segment 4 - Gary Glenn continued
