  • Description: St. Michael the Archangel Church continues the 5th Season of its highly-successful series, Why Be Catholic, on Wednesday, November 13th, at 7 PM, in the school cafeteria, with Deacon Tom Loewe, co-host of “Notes From Above” and Development Director for Ave Maria Radio. Loewe, who previously worked many years as Public Relations Director for the University of Michigan’s School of Music, will share the story of his reversion from Catholic school boy to, in Loewe’s own words a “true prodigal son” to ordained Catholic deacon with the Diocese of Lansing. Why Be Catholic is open to the public, regardless of parish or religious affiliation, and there is no charge or reservation requirement. The church is located at 11441 Hubbard Rd., immediately south of Plymouth Rd. between Farmington and Merriman Rds. in Livonia.
