The Most Rev. Samuel J. Aquila was installed as the new archbishop of Denver on July 18, 2012 at Denver’s Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Archbishop Aquila was born on September 24, 1950, in Burbank, Cali. He was ordained to the priesthood in Denver on June 5, 1976, and served the Denver Archdiocese for 25 years before appointed being Coadjutor Bishop of Fargo, N.D. June 12, 2001. On March 18, 2002, he became bishop of Fargo upon the retirement of Bishop James Sullivan.
Robert Reilly was Senior Advisor for Information Strategy (2002-2006) for the U.S. Secretary of Defense. He directed Voice of America and served in the White House as a Special Assistant to the President (1983-1985). A graduate of Georgetown University and the Claremont Graduate University, he has written widely on foreign policy, “war of ideas” issues and classical music. His previous book is "The Closing of the Muslim Mind: How Intellectual Suicide Created the Modern Islamist Crisis."
