    • Fr. Joseph Fessio

      Father Joseph Fessio is the Founder and Editor of Ignatius Press. He is also the publisher of the influential publications Catholic World Report and Homiletic & Pastoral Review. As a Jesuit professor he founded both the St. Ignatius Institute of the University of San Francisco and Campion College. During his academic career he has taught philosophy and theology courses at several schools. Fr. Fessio wrote his dissertation on the ecclesiology of Hans Urs von Balthasar under the direction of Pope Benedict XVI (then Professor Joseph Ratzinger).
