Meg Meeker, M.D., has spent more than twenty years practicing pediatric and adolescent medicine and counseling teens and parents. Dr. Meeker is a fellow of the National Advisory Board of the Medical Institute, and the author of several books, including the national bestseller, STRONG FATHERS, STRONG DAUGHTERS; THE 10 HABITS OF HAPPY MOTHERS; and BOYS SHOULD BE BOYS. A popular speaker on pediatric health issues and child-parent relationships, she is a frequent guest on nationally syndicated radio and television programs.
Dr. John Acquaviva is a professor of exercise science at Wingate University (NC) and the author of Raising Kids with a Healthy Body Image: A Guide for Catholic Parents. He is an active member of the Catholic Speakers Association, a radio show host – “Faith & Sport” on EWTN affiliate in Charlotte, NC – and is regularly asked to be a guest on national radio shows to promote topics surrounding health and fitness in the context of the Catholic Faith.
Dr. Christie was born in Miami, Florida to Cuban immigrant parents. At the age of five she moved to Guadalajara, Mexico while her mother studied medicine. She did her primary schooling there and returned to Miami at the age of twelve. She graduated from Columbia University in 1991 and the University of Miami Medical School in 1995, where she did her residency and fellowship.
