Jim Cavnar is a founder and president of Pompano Beach, Florida-based Cross International Inc. and Cross Catholic Outreach Inc., two Christian relief and development charities founded in 2001 to help the poorest of the poor worldwide. They are affiliated as the Cross International Alliance, an ecumenical association. In thirteen years the Alliance has grown to become the 56th largest nonprofit in the Philanthropy 400.
