Kresta in the Afternoon – September 6, 2023 – Hour 1

Eduardo Echeverria examines the state of Catholic-Protestant dialogue and Samuel James reviews the kinds of Christian stereotypes that appear in film.

What is the State of Catholic-Protestant Dialogue?

Do Catholics and Evangelical Protestants share a common faith in Christ? The teachings of Vatican II say yes, but some Protestants would disagree and say we can work together on cultural matters such as abortion but don’t share a common cause in the Gospel. Dr. Eduardo Echeverria weighs in.

Dr Eduardo Echeverria is Professor of Philosophy and Theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. He’s the author of several books including Pope Francis: The Legacy of Vatican II.

The Five Christians you meet in the Movies
