Kresta in the Afternoon – September 10, 2021 – Hour 2

We commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by looking back at programming from that week.

Understanding Christian/Muslim Dialogue

We read in the Catechism that Islam professes the Abrahamic faith. How do we understand the Church’s teaching on Muslim/Christian relations, particularly in the light of terrorism? Scott Hahn joined us and we look back.

Dr. Scott Hahn is the author of more than 40 books including Hope to Die: The Christian Meaning of Death and the Resurrection of the Body. He’s the Fr. Michael Scanlan Professor of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. He is the Founder and President of the St. Paul Center, an apostolate dedicated to teaching Catholics to read Scripture from the heart of the Church

How to Forgive?

Christ commands us to forgive not just one time, not just seven times, but seventy times seven. What does it mean to forgive and love our enemies in a time such as this? Jimmy Akin is our guest.

Jimmy Akin is a senior apologist for Catholic Answers and the author of several books, including the Bible is a Catholic Book.
