Synod on Synodality asked to “Rethink the whole church” according to Synodality
At the Synod on Synodality this week, delegates discussed the last part of the Instrumentum laboris, which addresses “the question of authority, its meaning and the style of its exercise within a Synodal Church.” Before the discussion, a theologian gave a presentation in which he said that we will have to “rethink the whole Church, all the institutions, the whole life of the Church in a Synodal sense.” We talk more with Matthew Bunson.
