When Msgr. Hilary Franco was a young priest, he served as an assistant to Bishop Fulton J Sheen and was with him during the Second Vatican Council. 60 years later, he may be the only priest alive who witnessed those events firsthand. He joins us to share his memories.

Msgr Hilary Franco served as Bishop Fulton Sheen's assistant during the Second Vatican Council. He is an Advisor of the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations. He was named a Monsignor in 1971 and a Prelate of His Holiness in 1981. He is a former Adviser for the Cause of Beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. and a board member of the Pontifical Path to Peace Foundation. He is the author of "Bishop Fulton Sheen: Mentor and Friend" and "Six Popes: A Son of the Church Remembers."
