Remembering the Great War

The Armistice ending the Great War was signed on November 11, 1918, finally ending four years of lethal destruction. The “War to End All Wars” left millions dead, set the stage for another War just a few years later, and did incalculable damage to the Christian witness. We talk more with Regis Martin.

Regis Martin, S.T.D., is a professor of theology and a faculty associate with the Veritas Center for Ethics in Public Life at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. He podcasts at In Search Of The Still Point and his latest book, Looking for Lazarus: A Preview of the Resurrection, was released in 2021.

Henry Crocker is the author of several books including The Yanks are Coming: A Military History of the United States in World War I. He has also written Triumph, Robert E. Lee on Leadership and The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Civil War. His journalism has appeared in National Review, the American Spectator, and the Washington Times.
