Can States force Priests to break the Confessional Seal?

Legislators in Vermont and Delaware are considering bills that would remove the Church’s right to the “Seal of confession” and force priests to report admissions or suspicions of child sexual abuse to the authorities. Andrea Picciotti-Bayer joins us with legal analysis.

Will Congress Ban TikTok?

On Thursday TikTok CEO Shou Chew appeared before Congress, which is considering a bipartisan bill to ban the app. Legislators are facing an interesting conundrum – they see the app as a threat to national security, but with more than 150 million American users, they’re hesitant to take it away from their voters. Jimmy Quinn has the latest.

Are we already seeing signs of Revival?

The Eucharistic Revival is happening in a world that has heard the Gospel and rejected it. After the shooting at a Christian school in Nashville, some pundits on Twitter mockingly asked if the students simply weren’t praying enough. And a recent survey by the Wall Street Journal found that less than 40% of Americans consider religion to be very important, compared with more than 60% in 1998. Yet, we can see signs of the work God is doing. We talk more about it with Tim Glemkowski.
