In March 2011, Shahbaz Bhatti – the only Christian serving in the Pakistani prime minister’s cabinet – was assassinated. He was known worldwide as a courageous man of faith and champion of religious freedom – and Knox Thames knew him as a friend. Knox, who has served as a Special Advisor for Religious Minorities in both the Obama and Trump administrations, joins us.
