The Political Thought of Joseph Ratzinger

Fr. Eamon O’Higgins gives us a detailed view of Joseph Ratzinger’s vision of the role of politics in human society, the purposes and limits of political authority, current inadequacies and defects in political practice, and principles of the renewal of politics.

Fr. Eamonn O’Higgins L.C. is a full-time professor of philosophy at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome, where he currently teaches moral and political philosophy as well as courses on contemporary political philosophers and the political thought of Joseph Ratzinger/Pope Benedict XVI.
