What religion can save society? Dr. Scott Hahn joins us.

What Religion can Save Society?

Is religion a right given to us by the state? Is it an opium for the masses? Is it private opinion with no role in the public sphere? Secularists claim that religion is merely a private matter, personally engaging but socially irrelevant. They may concede that a little bit of faith can be helpful, but you should mostly keep it to yourself.  Religion, modern secularists say, is irrelevant to modern justice and law. Scott Hahn joins us with his rebuttal.

Dr. Scott Hahn is the author of more than 40 books, most recently Catholics in Exile: Biblical Wisdom for the Journey Home. He’s the Fr. Michael Scanlan Professor of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. He is the Founder and President of the St. Paul Center, an apostolate dedicated to teaching Catholics to read Scripture from the heart of the Church. Learn more at stpaulcenter.com
