Kresta in the Afternoon – January 3, 2024 – Hour 1

2023 was a busy year. Wes Smith, Andrea Picciotti-Bayer, and Ed Clancy join us to look back at the biggest stories in the fields of bioethics, religious liberty, and Christian persecution.

2023 in Bioethics: Euthanasia Spreads, while some countries walk back on “gender-affirming care”

The world has lost sight of what it means to be human and has denied the existence of a natural law, and we see the effects playing out in courthouses and seats of government. Euthanasia numbers continue to rise in Canada and “right to die” laws are sprouting up worldwide. Meanwhile, medical experts in Europe are walking back on their previous willingness to provide “gender-affirming care” to minors. Wes Smith gives us a recap.
