Did the Vatican Intervene on the USCCB’s Biden Statement?

But it was also explicit about the contradiction between Biden’s faith and his support for abortion. The release of the statement was reportedly delayed after a Vatican intervention as Church officials debated whether it was worded too strongly. JD Flynn has the details.
