A Daring Rescue Led Me to Mary – and She Brought me to Jesus (2 segments)

Darren Geist’s journey to baptism began with a plunge into the water – but it wasn’t one he planned. He was awakened one night by a crash and found a car had plunged into a canal near his home. As he dove into the water, moments stretched into eternity and after he emerged he began to reconsider everything he believed. He soon felt a call from Mary that – as a borderline atheist – he couldn’t begin to understand. He shares his story.

The Bountiful Blessings of Baptism

Sunday’s Feast of the Baptism of the Lord is a moment to reflect not only on the Lord’s Baptism but on our own. In an extended sense, when Christ is baptized, so are we, for we are members of His Body. As Christ enters the water, He makes holy the water that will baptize us. He enters the water, and we who are members of His Body go with Him. In these waters He acquires gifts to give us. Msgr Charles Pope joins us.
