Saving Catholic Schools  

1960, there were 5.2 million students in 13,000 Catholic schools; these numbers have tumbled to 1.7 million students in 6,200 schools in 2020. Over these decades, declining school enrollment and closures ominously preceded declining church attendance and church closures. What is the importance of Catholic schools? David Bonagura joins us.

Pope Francis adds new Feasts to Church Calendar

There are several new feasts on the Church Calendar, including a memorial of Sts Martha, Mary and Lazarus and feast days for other saints. Michael O’Neill has the details.
