Kresta in the Afternoon – December 8, 2023 – Hour 2

We meet Mary in the Gospels with William Albrecht and discuss a family consecration to Mary with Colleen Pressprich.

Consecrate your Family to Mary

Colleen Pressprich first made a consecration to Mary in college and continues to renew her consecration on every Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It’s a wonderful gift, but it may be too advanced for young children. That’s why she has developed a Marian consecration for families. She joins us.

Colleen Pressprich is the author of Marian Consecration for Families with Young Children and a former missionary and Montessori teacher. She lives with her family in Michigan. Visit her at elevatortoheaven.com

Meeting Mary in the Gospels

May may be the “official” Month of Mary, but December is a special month as well. With the Feasts of the Immaculate Conception and Guadalupe, not to mention Christmas, it’s an ideal time to rediscover what the Gospels say about our Blessed Mother. William Albrecht and Fr. Christiaan Kappes join us.

Rev. Dr. Christiaan Kappes is currently academic dean and professor at Ss Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh PA. He is author of numerous books and articles in peer-review publications that touch upon Mariology. Those who wish to study more formally with him or to obtain a Masters in Theology from his Theological School online should feel free to contact him at bcs.edu
William Albrecht is the coauthor of Mary Among the Evangelists: The Definitive Guide for Solving Biblical Questions About Mary. William is co-host for Reason & Theology, as well as having guest appeared on EWTN, Virgin Most Powerful Radio, and many other networks. William runs a website dedicated to the Early Church Fathers that includes unique translations, articles, commentaries, and debates on the Fathers of the Church.
