Corporate America is singled out for not paying enough taxes and exploiting both customers and employees in pursuit of the almighty dollar. So why do Democratic candidates tend to do so well raising funds from Corporate America? Sam Gregg joins us.

Why Corporate America Loves the Left

Sam Gregg is director of research at the Acton Institute. He’s the author of several books, including Reason, Faith and the Struggle for Western Civilization and has written and spoken extensively on questions of political economy, economic history, ethics in finance, and natural law theory. He has an MA in political philosophy from the University of Melbourne, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in moral philosophy and political economy from the University of Oxford.

In November 1979, 52 US citizens were taken hostage when a group of militarized Iranian college students stormed the US Embassy in Tehran. Among them was Marine Corps guard Rocky Sickmann, who would spend the next 444 days in captivity. He shares his story.
